CUSTOM EXPERIENCES FOR TEAMS & GROUPS and INDIVIDUALS

PURPOSE

Through visual pattern-design and hands-on creative activity, these interactive experiences allow participants to explore how patterns of interaction and communication impact a team’s ability to create, collaborate, and innovate. They're designed for teams or individuals wanting to improve communication and collaboration, and for organizations experiencing rapid growth.

Patterns In Play workshops may be half- or full-day, with a focus customizable for your team's needs.

BENEFITS

  • Uncover hidden operating patterns among team members

  • Adopt strategies to understand self and others

  • Redefine mistakes and the role they play in a team’s ability to grow

  • Increase individual’s ability to tap into underlying truths and unspoken rules

  • Elevate collaborative work through improved communication skills

  • Up-level a team’s ability to play with agency and improve decision-making processes

  • Improve trust and psychological safety

  • Engage employees through a day of playful learning and development

GREAT FOR

This workshop is designed for teams in a collaborative and innovative environment; those inter-dependent on colleagues to get the work done. It’s ideal for teams:

  • experiencing rapid growth and change

  • wanting to improve communication and collaboration

  • who are stuck in unhelpful or harmful patterns

  • ready to re-design their collaborative model for the evolving tech environment

WHAT TO EXPECT

All workshops include playful exploration of hands-on pattern-generation and decision making. Participants  see how their own patterns play out through their interactions with visual pattern tools and through interactions with others. Activities include self-awareness, 1:1, and team dynamics.

  • Self: personal awareness; relationship to rules; decision

  • Partners: interaction and response to others, sharing the territory

  • Groups: group agency, decision making, building trust and safety

  • As the workshop progresses, participants raise awareness of some of their unconscious patterns, and teams start to visualize, bypass, and re-imagine pathways to conflict resolution, collaboration, and innovation.
